Tim,
So the pink 1/12 works for ya?? I'd love to see a pic of it!! Jason said only "special" people get the pink conversions!!

Mario,
I use the Futaba S9602. I cut the front ears off and use the bottom ears and mount the servo flat to the chassis. I used the bfront mounting hole position on the chassis and sput the servo in the middle of the adj. slot and tightened it down. Put the ball studs on the backside of the servo saver. You will be able to add a shim or 2 to the ball stud to change the acerman. Try to get the turnbuckles angled back about 1/16" to 3/32" (ball studs on servo saver that much farther forward then the ball studs on the stearing blocks). Make sure the turnbuckles are the same length and you're all set!!

I don't have a speedo or reciever in it right now, but I will snap a couple of pics later and post them. I am in the process of tearing the car down to get the aluminum anodized like I did to my x-ray.

The CRC front blocks are already red, and the chassis is pepto pink, so I will be doing the rest of the car in red.

You said it john. Watching 1/12 scale racing didnt do anything for me. Had i not driven one i probably never would have wanted one. Now i have no desire to even look at my touring cars. You dont realize how ill a touring car handles untill you drive a 1/12 scale.

I carry my towel anywhere I go. Its extra big and fluffy. It even has aloe so I dont get eye iritation.

Default need help real bad

I managed to get out to the track today and tried my 1/12. I cant find anything wrong with the car but I cant get it to run in a straight line, cornering is also very twitchy and mostly just spins out.

The car setup is as follows for asphalt

10 Deg Uprights
.022 springs
1 deg camber
Brace removed
Purple fronts
Hitec servo mounted flat
4.5 mm clearance

Rear
Dampening washers
40wt oil and olive spring
Pink tyres

I checked tweak…..OK
No bearings are binding
Tried the diff loose and tight
Tried compound on rear wheels only as well as rear and front.

It seems no matter what I do, as soon as I go on power , I loose the car. If I accelerate slowly or freewheel it goes perfectly straight

Make sure your toe isn't off. Turnbuckles are the same length and the measurement between the front outside edges of the front tires is the same measurement as the back of each front tire. Some toe-in may help on asphalt. Make sure the servo isn't the problem, my hitec would never center correctly. Your T plate should be thin and using 2 screws will give you a little more rear traction. Adjusting throttle expo and throttle acceleration may help but I doubt it will fix your problem. Compound on the rear of a 12th is always necessary. Make sure that both rear tires are exactly the same size.
