Updgrade from a TT-01
i have been using a tt-01 for a year now, specs:
10T yeh racing Brushless motor
35 amp ESC
5300 7.2 ni-cad
27T to 55T gearing
alloy main shaft
upgraded oil shocks
I am just wondering if anyone has and suggestions on a upgrade chassis.
Mainly for drifting, and off roading (yep, tt01 offroad car, pulls up the grass dirt )
Thanks for the help

Tamiya TB03 is a great chassis and similar to the TT01 layout. It's got a lot of potential since it's part of the TB Evolution family. You can find them pretty cheap here on rctech since a lot of people transitioned to belt drive cars. No particular reason ....just a lot of marketing hypw about belt drive. Since you're already familiar with Tamiya , this would make a pretty easy transition upwards.

TT-01 x1 (my current)
M-01 x2 (mini )
rebuild of a freinds truck

Here's a listing on rctech. http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...b03d-sale.html
Its a D model but easily changed over.
You're right about Ebay.....quite a few new ones for sale but didn't see any used.....yet. There were over 1000 listings for TB03.
A T1 ??? Never heard of it either. Not likely a Tamiya designation. Where did you see it ??
Next on the list would be a TA05. HUGE parts availability and I guarentee one can be found here on RCTECH. Need help just let me know.

thanks for the reply, sorry i cant quote, havent reached anoth posts
Yep, i was looking through the tamiya website earlier and noticed the TA05, is on ebay for £155, was only the V2 rather than the pro, but after upgrading my tt-01 i dont feel like spending so much on hop ups (again)
Thanks, this is my TT-01:
i have 2 bumpers as i drift in a very enclosed space and i have already broken one diff housing and rear bumber plate
Also sorry for the mud, i said it was a good off-roader (kind of)
