Default Connecting a KO FET Servo

I want to use a 2343 servo on my 415, I have an LRP v7.1 Digital Speedo - but the FET lead was removed by the previous owner of the speedo.

Is there any other way of connecting - can you connect the servo direct to the speedo?

Thanks

Alan

You can just tap the FET lead of the servo into the speedos Positive battery lead, meaning the Lead that goes to your cars battery pack. Just make sure to use the choke coil (resistor looking thing that is supplied with the servo)) between the servo and battery lead. This is what people have to do when running gas cars when using FET servos!

same here, use the + lead. it's the same as what comes out of the FET wire on the ESC (confirmed by Novak, I asked a while ago, having the same problem).

Also make sure you:
- hook it up as close to the batt + as possible.
- use the choke provided with the servo
- use a short lead

I just solved my glitching problems with my 2113, and it kicks some serious ass now!

Later,
Paul

The 2343 servo does not have a 7.2V lead. It is a 6.0V servo. Why do you need the 7V lead? What others have stated are true for a 7.2V servo, but you have a 6.0V servo.
