Default 2011 "IIC" INTERNATIONAL INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS LAS VEGAS

For 6 years now the biggest names in the On Road racing world have gathered in the most exciting city in the USA for the IIC, the tradition will continue for its 7th year.

The International Indoor Championships will be back for its 7th year, Again hosting the IIC will be the Riviera Hotel and Casino, Located right on the strip in Las Vegas it is the perfect location for this amazing event.

The dates for this years event will be Oct 3-8th 2011. The format and schedule will be run the same as in years past and is as follows.

Oct 2 Poker Tournament open to all IIC racers and Family
Oct 3 Monday Check in and pit set up
Oct 4 Tuesday Practice and Drivers meeting buffet Dinner
Oct 5 Wed Qualifying & Sponsors Meet and Greet with free food & beer
Oct 6 Thur Qualifying
Oct 7 Fri Qualifying
Oct 8 Sat Mains

Classes and structure are still being worked on but will be similar to last years event. With the date moved to Oct, we are sure it will work into everyone's schedule better and make for the best IIC in many years.

The Poker tournament was a huge success last year, we had nice turnout but many people were a bit timid to join in the fun and stood on the side lines, This will not be the case this year as they all said to me last year that now that they watched and saw it was so much fun. They will all join in next year. So who is going to be the one to take the Poker Crown from the Defending IIC Poker Champion Paul Lemieux? Or is Paul going to repeat as champion. Last year it was a Cheese Head Podium as Jeremy and Showtime of the IIC Team completed the podium. Will the do it again. We will see!

The Riviera has continued to work with us to give you the best deals possible. Rates will again be $49 during the week and $79 on the weekends.

Interest in the IIC has always been strong around the world, but this year we should have our biggest turnout of international drivers ever as everyone wants to be part of the most prestigious on road race in the world.

All the registration information and hotel details will be out soon but set your calendar for Oct as the on road world will descend on Las Vegas for the 7th running of the IIC.

Details can be found at www.intchamps.com

See you in October.

Qualifying begins on Thursday the 6th of October, so you'd probably want to arrive before then. Practice is of course optional but recommended, and that will be running on Tuesday and Wednesday. Usually we do have people who show up late so it's not unusual.
