Since we now know the classes. I guess the next question is going to be weight limits. People want to weigh in on minimums?
This weekend I battle tested my full headlight and working brakelight setup in my TC6 to see how it held up in racing. It came through with flying colors but its a lot of extra crap in the car so it came up to 1430 grams. Guess I'll just bit the bullet and be overweight.

the driver's stand has a weight limit of 2300 lbs.
the airlines have a weight of 50 lbs per bag.
the elevators in the hotel have a weight limit of 1700 lbs,
and the cabs have a 5 person max occupancy.
hope that helps.

no skinny kids are allowed to make weight jokes unless it is about how you lack it. long live the heavy dudes (we need all the help we can get).

Is it me, or did a page of this thread magically disappear?
Anyway, how do the pit table assignments work? Are we gauranteed a spot if we pay our entry? Is there a way to 'reserve' a table if i'm coming in a day later than setup day?
I will probably have a few noob questions, as this would be my first travel-to race!
...That is if I can pull it off!!
Thanks,
Steve

Good reason for everyone to get their entries in; so, Scotty and Boomer can make a good call on the number of pit tables and chairs required.
Raced there six of the seven years and have never had a problem getting a good pit space. Actually have been there all seven years; but, the first year was as a spectator to learn and see how the pros did it...Was not one bit disappointed to watch the incredibly close racing by the Big Boys.

Richie,
Overweight for sure...
But, they didn't trust me with the scales after I said your car's weight. They thought I was nuts. And turning it on was HARD too.
Remember, I am your wingman.

Hi Guys,
First I hope everyone has a great 4th of July and gets a chance to relax and enjoy life.
Things for the IIC are moving right along. I know I know. Hard to think about October already when it is 4th of July, but entries open up on the 13th and I just wanted to give everyone a bit of info.
Entires do open on July 13th at 8pm EST. We will do it as we have for the past few years online at www.intchamps.com You can pay via paypal or print it out and mail it in. All the classes are listed on the website.
I am considering offering a new class for this years IIC. If we have enough interest, I would like to offer a F-1 class. I have had a good number of inquires regarding this class and that is what has got me thinking about it. So if this is something you would participate in, please make a post and let me know. If there is enough interest, then we will go with it. I think it would be awesome. I was just at a event in Japan that ran it and it was really cool.
Spec tires for this years event will be the Jaco Rubberz. It is the tire we have used for many years and they work great. Jack is excited again to get the indoor season rolling and join everyone in Vegas!
Motor for the Amature class will be announced soon. things are still being finalized for this and I will let everyone know as soon as it is set. I can tell you this, It will be a 17.5 motor Sorry I had to.
I am excited to get things ramped up for another tour of the IIC and I look forward to seeing many old friends and no doubt many new ones for the 2011 running of the IIC.
As always if you have any questions, please just let us know.
Happy 4th of July everyone.
Best wishes,
Scotty
