Go to your local track and ask around for what everyone else is running, chances are 80% of them are running the same thing, which in turn will be the highest supported product by your LHS, which in turn is easy access for yourself which in turn keeps you sliding sideways longer

The ESC/Motor that comes with it is probably the best setup for the price. Inexpensive durable ESC, and a 17x2 that produces good torque and plenty of RPM to keep your tires spinning.
You don't need insane rip out of a motor in a drift car, just makes it harder to drive...stick with what it came with.
If you are dead set on getting something new, Novak Rooster 12T and a 13x2 motor would be good. I suggest the Rooster because it has reverse, something you do want with a drift car.
