A Close Look at those Fairgrounds R/C cars!

I thought you guys would enjoy these photos.

My son and I went to the World of Wheels last year at the fairgounds in Indianapolis. Of course, the guys running the R/C cars caught our attention. We got a rare glimpse of the INSIDE of one of those high-performance R/C cars! The lady opened it up and laid it there for all the world to see! Can you imagine that happening at Area 51? Never!

You will be very impressed by the extraordinary technology and care that goes into keeping these cars in top condition.

Well look at that, those things use practically the same stuff us racers use. I thought it was some kind of commercial only kind of equipment. I have a novak rooster reversible esc just like that one.

I would like to see how they make the transmitter work with the steering wheel and gas pedal...

The car looks like an old Bolink eliminator, using old Nicd batteries,Novak ESC all very similiar to what we use to race with right now.

Yep, I'd say that's where the bug bit you! But it was probably more expensive using their equipment than buying your own. Wonder if they make a living at running those racers, or just some extra cash?

Not even sure about that. It almost looks like a drill motor. Who knows how many turns are on that armature. Those things run forever like that. Slow but long. You never see them change a battery at those things.
