kind of looks like an old kyosho LeMans series motor. If you find the right collector, they might pay a descent amount of money for it. I am not comletely sure on what motor it is so don't take my guess as truth.

The 240 part of the motor label means it was designed for 240 sec run time with 1200mah batteries. Those 240s I think were around 21 turns or so. A modern stock motor would kill that thing. That 240 is 20 years old.

I think this motor comes with Nikko buggies. I may be wrong. Its either a 21T or a 23T.

Kyosho is not the only guys to make motors like this...and I'm sure this is not the Le mans series 'cos I used to have the full series of Kyosho Le Mans motors back in the 80's. I've been playing RC since 1984.

I think I've used this type of motor before.......geezzzz that was a looong time ago... AYK and Nikko also make motors like this during that time.....it could be either one of it......but more likely to be Nikko 'cos I remembered Nikko's Super Sprint comes with a motor like that.

Hey speedy....... da gold end is tappered...that is not Kyosho.

This Tamiya Technigold is one hell of a motor back then! This motor was meant to be abused. We use to run one hour endurance with it.

I prefer to use the Technipower on the 2wd buggy...smooth.

As far as I know that's not an actual Kyosho motor, but a copy.
can't be sure of the make though.
All the Kyosho motors of that era were marked LeMans.
