Hey cyclone,

I do not think the Hara2.0/2.1 can be set without the pc or the handheld. But the speedo will run well if u are racing mod motors even without any programming.

To set one up, all u need is a pc, a cable to connect the speedo to ur pc, and software u can download from the KO site.

3 questions to anyone who would want to answer.

1. Aside from the original KO Propo VFS-1 and other models such as Twister 2.0/2.1, Yokomo Masami model, RS-43/43C Rayspeed model, MMS-3 Corally model, and Volac Tamiya model, what other VFS-1 models are there that I have not mentioned?

2. Which among these models has the best factory programming?

3. Which model is the most popular and consumer favorite?

Alex racing do a range complete with bling heatsink available in a rainbow of colours!

People buy the Hara for the name really, with the programmer, which you should have to make the most of the speedo imo they are all equal.

KO Twister 2.1 has the best. Hara setting profile speaks for itself.

i installed the 27 turn settings someone posted up here, it started at 5 and ended at 24, the motor sometimes wont turn over early in the throttle, I hear the electronics whining like it wants to turn the motor over but it doesn't. this is even with the pinion off

whats your setting for throttle response? also, reset the esc to the radio (resetting the neutral, full throttle and full brake). let us know if that helps?

Lower frequency will always have some deadband on the throttle. High frequency gives better response. Also, starting at 5 is way too low. You should start at 15 and go down to 7 when you are at step 10 and go back up.
