XRAY T2/T3 SPOOL IN A T1 ???
Hi all... I am in need of some serious advise regarding the above subject... For some time I've been running a multi-diff setup as a spool in my T1...
the cars is whole lot of fun to run and there tons of power provided by the LRP system... The biggest issue I am facing is the destruction of the
3mm caps that are mount on the dogbones...
I posted this issue in the XRAY T1 thread: "i am currently facing is the constant failure of the 3mm plastic drive shaft caps... I am running a spool
up front... every time i make a run, the plastic caps go a away... anyone else having this experience? suggestions? fixes"
This is the response i got: "I guess best bet would be getting T2/3 front plastic spool that doesn't use
blades. That would change your internal drive ratio and you would have to change rear as well. I guess there isn't any other option."...
Now, I'm not sure if I dismissed this idea prematurely by saying the T2 and T3 parts won't work with T1's... It seemed to be a general problem
with the design... and I the think this is Xray's solution... Composite Solid Axle 34T - Set... the good thing about this spool is that the
drive ration won't change... Do you guys think this spool could fit in the T1? where can I find the measurement for this unit? see the below photo...
Any help will be appreciated

Aye, right with this spool IR will be the same.
I've just tried to fit 38T spool in my T1 car, unfortunately I've had only gear laying around without outdrives as I don't run Xray for quite a while and somehow this is still in my parts box. It seems to fit a bit tightly between bearingsl but I still was able to spin it. What might will be issue are outdrives itself as I don't know their outer diameter I'm not sure if they'll fit in the rings holding bearings.

Good day!
You could try to find one of these.
http://www.teamxray.com/teamxray/pro...%20T1M,%20T1FK
But it will not work for a FK05

Well... here is the thing... since the 34 tooth pulley is available, I would now be only concerned about the fit between the bulkhead/bearings and alignment with the front belt...
could you post some photos of the test you made?
Thanks for the quick response guys..
