hey guys...

can you recommend a servo saver that would fit into a s411 and a savox sc1251mg servo, without having to mod the servo plate?

Thanks

for those that have the v2 kit, or have switched to the 2.25mm chassis, is the car alot better to drive, then before, and if anyone has owned a xray before and now has a serpent, can you please tell me the advantages for this kit thanks

The new Xray 4 spring servo saver will work. Instead of modifying the plate, I run a double thick piece of servo tape under the servo and then put a 1mm washer under each of the servo standoffs. I tried this without the servo tape but 2 things happen. First the whole assembly, servo and plate will slightly move no matter how tight you run the screws and nuts. And 2, the servo will drop down and the saver or arm will start to rub on the plate and if you don't check it, the car will not steer properly.

2.25 plate makes the car feel more planted in the rear. There is no clear cut advantage of one over the other, both are very good cars. Shocks are a different kind of assembly/build but build and quality are comparable. See if someone at your track has either and see if you can take it for a spin, maybe one suits your style of driving more than another.

I use the Tamiya servo saver (The high torque one with the aluminum mount) and use double-sided tape to mount the servo to the chassis. I only use one servo mount (the one in the center of the chassis) and it's held-up awesome so far.

Personally - I found the car to be pretty close when comparing the 2.5 to the 2.25 chassis'. When comparing to the XRay, I like that the S411 has a little more front end grip when using similar set-ups on both cars. The Serpent seems to like to rotate a little more - it feels less "pushy".

I have owned both. Cars are very good, The Serpent seems to complete the whole corner better.

double the heatshrink in the DJC to help it hold the pin better
what is the problem with the carbon battery holder?

yes i do not like tape, looks cheap in such an expensive kit lol, plus i just like the added security of the brace also it says it does not tweak the chassis, can you take a picture of the corally brace thanks
