so what do you think of the spring setup that i have been using on low
traction track?
well i have tried taking out 1 screw on top deck to have more flex, there
is too much oversteer ! same setup, tyre, spring ane etc...
our track here in mine particular area, after a raining day, you drive the car,
and loose stones and a layer of white dust on the kit. thats what i call
low loose track!
anyway pls adv.on my spring setup
tks

I had the same issues as you when I used the kit setup. What really helped me was a wheelbase change by moving back the rear arms. On the rear, I used 5mm shims front and 1mm back.
Also used 0.5 shims instead of the 1mm on the rear suspension blocks.
But try the wheelbase change first.

Does anyone have a solid setup they can post for med traction asphalt?
Ran the kit setup on the w/e and struggled to stop the car from spinning out on power through corners. The car is fast out of the box, but is hard to drive. (for my skill level at least)
I've tried heavier diff oil and longer wheel base to start with, any other suggestions?? Any help would be great...
Cheers

I had that problem too. I switched to 2000 WT Mugen oil in the rear diff and Sorex tires and the car hooked up extremely well. The track had medium traction but the surface was somewhat cold (due to rainfall earlier on during the day). The other change I did was to decrease droop on the front and rear by 1 step from the stock setup.

you could try turning your steering EPA down so its not full lock i find that doing this also helps, you dont always need to run it at 100% depending on the track i have mine down at 80% and still has heaps of steering.
currently im running 4 hole pistons in the rear of my shocks with 40wt oil which is working very well

this is one of the reasons why i done it in the rear just have the car squat down while punching it out of the corners..
on most of my provious TC i have always done this.this way i just start putting differant oils in to see what it feels like.
the other thing i have not yet tried also is what others have done is have 4 beval gears in you diff this will also help i am still waiting on my other diff to turn up so i can have 2 diffs with differant settings

I have no problem at all, the car sits like its glued to the track!
The main secret is a smooth triggerfinger .
And as Jamison said, use correct tires! There is no way you
can find a good setup with poor tires and a happy triggerfinger.

I prefer to deal with the oil instead of placing additional gears. Going to 2000 in the rear worked wonders for me and of course, the Sorex 32R tires made a huge impact. I have found that the rear stays more planted with the use of thicker oil. Don''t go to high because it can get your car to push.

+1. Happy trigger finger, guilty as charged right here. I am an aggessive driver, and when I swithced from running foam tires on carpet to rubber tire i had problems. You have to be smoother with rubber tire. what I do is give myself some negative throttle expo and it helps me when I yank on the trigger.
