dont see them here. I remember reading that serpent uses a new spring and color codes. Not 100% though

I'm seriously looking at buying a 411 and just want the low down on this kit.
1. Quality- how does it compare to the likes of Xray & Tamiya?
2. Durability- does it hold up well in a crash?
3. Performance- is the car up there with the 417, Tcx, Tc6 etc? Or too early to tell.
4. Support- parts availability, team drivers setups and so on is that department looking good?
Thank you, any feed back would be much appreciated..
cheers :-)

2. I believe there are 3 of them running so far in my area, and I don't think any of us has broken any parts yet. I know I haven't.
3. I have limited time on my car but both races that I entered my car in I was only .2 tenths off of the fastest lap by my competition, and they have raced more than me this year and have had their cars longer as well. I feel very competitive against them. We have a "bigger" race in two weeks which I am building towards.
4. Parts are in good supply in the overseas market and should be arriving in the USA soon for us. The Hong Kong supply is strong. Marc Fisher was just added to the team so the Team setups will very much improve. Also Serpent UK is very strong too.
Hope this helps,
Steve

First I would like to thank Paul for this opportunity. This car went together easier than any other car kit I have had. I run mostly indoor carpet so as soon as I get a good set-up I will post it. I will be at all of the Mid-West grandslam races and hopefully the Indoor Champs this year, so if you are planning to attend any or all of these races myself and John K. will be there to help. I've driven the topp car, tamyia 416, and tc6 and I feel this car will out handle all of them. As soon as I get something together I will let everyone know.

1 --> Quality is really good, all parts fit 100%, no need of a dremel or anything else. It make's a lot fun to build an S411.
2 --> Yes, we were 16 serpent teamdrivers on the german National warm-up. No broken parts here!
3 --> I'm 100% sure, the car is good like the Tamiya, Yokomo or anything else. Marc tested already on different tracks, and on every track he was faster as with his old corally and he said me everytime the car is very good balanced with maximum steering :P No significant setup changes he have done after he switched from carpet test to asphalt test.
4 --> No problem, too. Parts availability is really good, and new stuff is everyday under development. The development-team around Harald Hergarten (head developer) is working hard Setups are no problem too, because they're already a lot of good serpent drivers out there who are provide their setups, including class-A driver Marc Fischer
