It was the only xray spur LHS had that wasnt 116t monster. I still get a 6.0 fdr for 17.5 boosted. A bigger spur will fit for mod.

Remember 48pitch. Its similar in size to my 98t 64p

Go up on pinion or down on spur. 78spur 31 pinion 48 pitch will give you a 5.0 fdr

Hi guys, I've almost completed my 411, this kit seems to be absolutely awesome! I need to purchase spur and pinion, but which one? I've always run 1:8 brushless buggy but I'm totally new to 1:10 touring and I don't know where to start to choose the proper gearing. I'll run on an outdoor track with a Tekin rs-pro/5.5T combo, any input about gearing will be very wellcome

Are you a 64p or 48p guy? The max spur size that will fit is a 112t 64p or an 84t 48 pitch gear. With these sizes, the spur teeth is right next to the chassis. When the car flexes during cornering there is a chance that the teeth may hit. So go a little smaller if you have not purchased spurs yet.

So the S411 uses standard spurs? Thats good to know because the XRay uses only XRay spurs which have an offset to them.

As for spurs, I personally like these.
