Our track has roughly the same length straight and I'm running a 35t pinion and 69t spur (48p, 3.94fdr) with minimal timing and 130deg motor temps after 5 min heats. A 36t pinion is as large as I can go with the 69t spur, any larger and I'd have to get the V3 motor mount.

Try around a 4-4.10 fdr to start and go from there depending on your timing and motor temps.

Hope that helps.

Sanwa/Airtronics SRG-BLS is awesome (which is what I use) or as a cheaper option the SDX-701 or -801.

The compact Savox 1251/2 are generally the most popular around here, and also are the most cost effective. With the 1251 in, I've got tons of room for different sized RX/ESC's.

Http://www.petitrc.com is a good place to find S411 setups. To be honest I've found the kit setup perfectly fine for blinky. Tyres make a bigger difference here!

I particularly like all hard plastics as standard!! I got tired of building a kit only to change all the plastics straight away. I got a box full of new medium plastics! DJC's as standard too!! Brilliant - well done Serpent!

Who's getting one? As soon as preorder is up I'll be all over it!

Darn, I was off by a week, lol.

It has some interesting new options with the top deck, the lower bearing mounts and the sway bar mounts................need to see a picture just to wet the appetite.

AND have to get on the pre-order list.

Hey all: This may not be new news ,but saw this over on redrc and thought I'd share. I've seen a few 1/10th electric tc's with aluminum chassis lately is this a trend or a fad? Also what would be the benefits of aluminum vs graphite chassis? Thanks
