Serpent S411

Talking about spurs, what is the bigger one that you can use with the s411? One friend give me a 64P 113T spur and it is very close to the ground so in only 5 runs has been ripped. Ok it get ripped because I run over some kerbs but the distance between chassis and spur is near to zero. I was thinking about buying 64P 108T Does it have more clearance?

same as Dave, I ran the car for the first time on Sat. It needed 'calming' down a bit on the steering as it has too much, then spoke to chris and Mark who steered me in the right direction on setup. So a big thanks to the Serpent UK boys.
PS. did not like the cut/flexi top deck. too wallowly in corner entry for my liking, but would suit a damp/low grip circuit more for me!
other than that the car was fast and easy to drive.

I'll hijack this question. :-)
I've looked around and haven't seen much on the subject, so wondering your thoughts on front to rear weight balance. My current car is about 47% front/53% rear. I assume each car/track likes a little different balance, but there's probably a range of JustRight (tm).
Your thoughts?
Thanks,
Ethan

Weight balance is a very important aspect of car setup for sure.
From my testing when moving weight forward the car will push more on high speed corners and on corner entry of low speed corners. However on low speed corners as you finish the apex and start grab some throttle I find it can sometimes give a little more steering and forward bite. It will also overheat your front tires more and they will loose grip through the race causing the car to push more as the race goes on.
If have found that moving the weight to the back of the car tends to give the car more steering in both high speed and low speed corners. I think you loose a little bit of forward bite...but it might just be my imagination It will also cause the rear tires to overheat causing more oversteer later in the race.
I still think it is best to get as close to 50/50 weight balance. The balance you have is perfect I think.
I hope this helps.
Martin.
