I will have to try this mod this weekend and it is so very simple. I recently purchased an S411 and put a Thunderpower Motor in it with the blue rotor and this has got a ton of torque in it. Enough that it would break the tail end loose coming out of the corners. I am hoping that this will help with the grip problem I am experiencing. I had tried laying the rear shocks down a bit more nut that didn't solve it. I will also try lowering the inside camber link on the rears to make them equal to the outside. Oh, yeah this has a gear diff in front also. Love the car!!! It is awesome!! Parts are alot less than the Xrays I used to drive. Thank you Serpent!!!!

Default COOL

MAKE SURE YOU USE A SMALL AMOUNT OF LOCKTIGHT IF YOU USE THE BUTTON HEAD SCREW LIKE I DID. BECAUSE YOU CANT REALLY TORQUE IT DOWN, YOU DONT WANT IT BACKING OUT WHILE RUNNING.

BAD007SUZUKI, Thank You for the advice about the loctite on the screw. This may have slipped my mind. I'll let you know how it helped out after some Friday Night Racing at RCAR here in INDY. Is it Friday yet?? I wanna go racing!!!

Default 2.5

2.5MM CHASSIS. I DESTROYED MY 2MM. DINKED A WALL AND BROKE RIGHT INFRONT OF THE FRONT TOE BLOCK. ITS A WEAK SPOT ON THE CHASSIS BECAUSE OF HOW THE BUMPER IS MOUNTED.

WITH MY SETUP AND THIS MOD, MY CAR IS ON RAILS ON A LOW TRACION CARPET TRACK. THANKS TO JAMES REILLY FOR THE IDEA.

Ran the topdeck screw mod yesterday, although I just use a 10mm setscrew, no head, and had no gear issues. I use the setscrew and a nylock nut so its locked and I can run it as tight or loose as needed.
