Owens car is ok but it is always a comprimise to make it more predictable to drive. His power is also set that way. Its hard to offer someone performance and.power when they are aggresive. They end.up doing dougnuts and blowing up motors...

Yeah thats with serpent white springs so very soft... the whole car had a fair bit of roll which it seems to like. Thats why I have the kick down on the front.

I would suggest starting with the yellow springs all round as the car will be more responsive however it will have plenty of grip on either spring.

Also I noticed that the yok guys did a vid of one of the runs at FEMCA. I started just in front of Volker (the car they follow) so you get to see a fair bit of my car as he catches me. This wasn't one of my better runs and it was with the Hara springs which were ~ 0.3sec a lap slower than the Serpent whites plus I had no bottom end at all this run (I hate not having my BD working!). Still you get to watch it roll around from my slow start (I didn't get my tyre prep sorted for fast starts) and work back up the ladder to 4th I think.

S411 is working good on carpet. Very few changes from kit set up. Extended frontvand rear wheel base and running white rear springs. I am really liking this car

Unfortunately he had one of the few motors that went up in smoke over the weekend. I was marshalling a few of his races and He was eating up the corners when he was following Rod M in the second group of qualifiers when the track was really hot. My schuie really struggled in these conditions.

Actually the motor failure was from motor damage... He must have gotten hit on the end of the.motor and it pushed the timing from almost nothing to full! I had a go at him at first for turning it up but it seems it was not his fault afterall.

Okay, after a careful consideration of what TC Car i was going to get, i ended with the S411 as it seemed the best value for money. So is there any good carpet setup's i could use as a starter piont?

Try this. It works great. You maybe have to increase wheelbase length (RF)by 0,5 or 1,0 mm up to 3,5 or 4,0 mm, if the track is big. It should make the car more stable - not so quick on steering.
