im really doubting the need for any more options. last 3 meets i have changed my car completely and have suffered, either due to setup , or track and weather conditions. today was a quick few laps just to see how it felt. no timing, but to be honest, after chaging chassis, roll centers, and toe plates, and even goign to Hard arms and hubs all round, the car felt almost the same as it has before. so that many changes, i was expecting steering issues, lack of it, and a planted rear end. but infact it was a tad loose on the back, and still the same amount of steering. so really not sure how to go now. ill leave it as is, and wait for the weekend, and see what the times are like. but it feels the same. haha. but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Default S411 kit

Hi Guys
Can anybody confirm what chassis plate the kit is supplied with because the specs at A-mains says it is 2,5mm and the kit specs at RC Market is 2,25mm.
Can kits be ordered with diff options of chassis plates.

Mine came with a 2.5mm. As far as I am aware the 2.0mm and 2.25mm are only options and not part of any kit.

Mine is going quite well too but I am looking for a way to square up the back end on power so I can drive out of the corners harder. This is the only weakness it has at the moment. I am keen to get the 3.5 blocks for the rear to see if this is what I am looking for. The other option that I have not played with is adjusting the track front and rear. This would be great if they offered lots of option blocks so you could narrow or widen each end by 0.5mm. At the moment I am thinking of trying 0-1 blocks on the front to balance the response of each end during change of direction.

just tried all that, and i mean all of it. and i was left wondering what i actually need to do. cause it felt the same. haha i have the rear toe plate, and will be trying that. i can get the drive no problem but im looking for a better balance of steering and rear grip. i know it is possible, but it will all click one day. just have to keep trying stuff.

Hi.

To solve your problem, try 3 - 3,5 or even 4 mm shims on the rear upright links and lower the shims on the inside on the bulkhead. The link (turnbuckles) must be more angeled. It works on a 417, why not on a 411...
