Never mind, I think I know why. totally different gear diff right? Has to be longer in order to work. Am I right?

Are the dog bones that come in the kit aluminum or steel? I assumed they were aluminum and bought the steel ones extra. Well I weighed them and they weigh the exact same.

Do you have to use thicker oil to compensate for only having two gears?

Not sure, I haven't seen anyone post about it yet. I will be running mine on carpet, but haven't had a chance to. The only thing I changed was I put 350cst in the rear shocks instead of 500cst. I just seems that no matter what brand of TC I had the set-ups always had thinner oil in the rear. I guess we will see.

Tamiya, 3racing, etc 44mm bone same length as xray 50. And tamiya 46 = xray 52. Cause they measure it differently. Oh, so I need to run 50mm bone? Cause the new xray gear diff will work with 52mm bone in the T3.... But I should have a spare set of 50 in my tool box from my T3 days.... Thanks for the head up! Oh and I tried both 2 gears and 4 gears setup. Think the different is very small..... I think it is like changing the diff oil from 800 to 1200. There are some different but very very small..... for me anyway. haha

I ran the car with kit setup on carpet and was surprised at how good it was. It needed a little more rear traction and mid corner grip, but other than that it was fine on kit springs

I changed to the white springs in rear and did a few laps on the carpet. Felt very smooth and consistent. Although our carpet was extremely dirty, I still had grip.

are you 100% sure that T3 Xray Gear diff will works on S411???

i've tried to put one T3 ball diff on S411... and this don't fit !!!!

T3 ball diff is 1 mm larger (on bearing holder) compared to S411 spool/gear diff
