Nope, mine were clear. I bought them maybe 6 to 8 months ago. The o rings that came in the kit were black and seemed tighter and probably stiffer. Maybe they changed the color but will have similar performance to the clears that I have.

Hey Guys, need some advise on how to cut some weight on the s411te, last week weighed in at 1480g, 100 grams over minimum. All wires are shortened already and I only have 10g weight on right side to balance. Any tips besides titanium screws and turnbuckles that could bring me down a bit would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,

Hi there. What electrics are you running as this will have a huge bearing on overall weight. For example are you running a heavy high capacity lipo? Do you need such high capacity? Could you fit a lighter lipo for example?

My S411 ERYX is 1320g without any weight added to the chassis and with a lightweight protoform LTC-R fitted. I run Speed passion Reventon Pro 1.1 esc, ORCA motor, orion carbon 5000 lipo, Sanwa SRG-BLS v2 servo.

To lighten the car I have used an Xceed titanium screw set (the Serpent alu screws could be used as well), alu rear dive shafts and ceramic bearings all round and alu track rods (but I have bent a few of them and will change out to titanium at some point) but to be honest the S411 doesn't really have a weight issue to begin with. First start with your lipo weight and go from there...

Hi all .. update on the o-rings.
installed 160110 o-rings + delin shock guides.
No leaking yet .. only had about 10 min run time so far.
Leaks were clearly evident after just 5 min on kit o-rings.
Smoother with delrin guides too.

I currently am using the revtech 7100 mah 100c lipo, lrp sxx esc and thunder power z3r 17.5 motor, servo is the ko rsx one ten, I also use the light weight ltcr body, I am going to start with the titanium screws and track rods and see where that gets me. I do use a wtf 40 mm fan on my motor so possibly go with a smaller/lighter fan.

You'll save a small amount of weight with your changes. If you were to switch to say the Orca 6000 lipo that I am using you would save more weight. Also the Orca TX 17.5 motor is much light than your motor. I also use a Futaba BLS servo that is the low profile version which is also lighter but is a great performing servo.

That's way more lipo than you need for 17.5!! You can go down to a 5000 easy and save a load of weight there. That'll make the biggest difference. The fan won't make much of a difference either.

I need to put weight on my car to get to minimum weight 1350. I would start to get the V3 diff if you not already have it. I run the RSXone, TP 4.5, IP5800 (290 grams), HW3.1 and Sanwa 471 and Mazda6 lightweight. Titanium turnbuckels and some titanium screws in topdeck. Very even balanced side to side. Outdoor I do not need to put weight in, running IP6800 and 40 mm fan and are almost dead on 1350.

We are running preglued Sorex28 and 36 with blue inserts I am not sure what wheels. But I think they are pretty light, that helps a lot and I have one color thin on the body.
