Got the new TE built for our club day today at IMCC. Didnt take long to get it flying round the IMCC track and ended up winning 17.5 (boosted). Our track is Low to Medium grip asphalt. Only changes I made was I dropped the oil in the rear diff to 600 and played around slightly with the rear roll centre.

Nice work Serpent

Maybe its just me but I found them harder to set my rebound accurately but overall the shocks work very well. I was in a bit of a hurry to get the car finished for todays racing lol

While not having been in RC racing all that long, my 2nd ever RC car was a Serpent 720 so I have been around the brand for a few years. Will be jumping into the 747 when it is released.

I like what Serpent are doing and figure I may as well support them again on the track.

See you mid April for the next round of the Challenge Cup.

you know, this is the one time i really think that AARCMCC could allow a week between events , it shouldnt matter as its Gas then EP , but its never stopped clubs holding events wiht in a week of another. i would feel both National events would get more numbers for both if these 2 events were held with in a week of each other. i for one would definately take the 2 weeks off so i could run both. but they are too far apart i couldnt take a month of work. so its still early yet, maybe the clubs could work together to get these 2 events close so more people can run both. But for me unless dates change, i will be running Gas Nationals as preference.

747 should be taking off in about 3-4 weeks. i also will be getting one.
Serpent are working hard this year, harder than ever, and the releases seen so far this year have been all about the Racer, shortly we will see releases aimed about the Beginner, Serpent are focusing on the starting market to get more people into racing, this is what i like to see, RTR vehicles are a great way for the beginner or even a club to focus on getting new drivers into RC. so for this i Congratulate Serpent, and i also have been driving Serpent for some time, and really love the products. i have seen many people come and leave , but its always funny to see them return. but really i dont hold that against them personally.

Are you reffering to at the rack or at the knuckle?

My S411 is a little slow reacting after braking for corners and I have developed a small push. Any suggestions low to med grip carpet. For the push would a stiffer sway help?
