Default chassis flex

I'm considering buying a used S411 to use in vta. I am new to on road racing and have questions about chassis flex and traction. With lower speeds and rubber tires do you want a more flexible chasis, ie the 2mm chassis? The 2.25 chassis? This would be indoor carpet racing.

Could you take a pic and post it up? There is only about a 2 to 3 mm gap between the top deck and the battery on mines but twisting the car in my hands it tweaks out pretty easily. I guess ill have to try in on the track and see if it makes any difference.

thank you for the fast reply. the main issue i have with the xary is that is a little bit to loose from the rear and if you don't find the perfect setup it will be very difficult to drive an other week point i think the xray have are the shock i never made 4 shocks the same rebound. do you think i will have the same problems with the serpent?

xray use serpent's old 4-step externally adjustable shock
serpent doesn't use it anymore

Shock travel would be severely limited when you would install the old adjustable pistons.

Are most guys running the 2.25 or the 2.50 chassis on carpet?

Would the thinner chassis provide too much traction when the grip on carpet comes up or, is it a must to get the car to really lock in? What about hard arms...are they needed for carpet? Right now my S411 is 3/10 slower than my box stock T3/12 , I'd like to improve on that.

I think what most are saying is that the 3.5 Suspension bracket for the rear is a very nice addition. Apparently the 2.25 chassis gives a slight improvement.

Someone that has both these parts can probably give you more info though.
