how did you get 0.3mm anti-dive if may ask?
A .3mm spacer in addition to the 4mm spacer under the front/rear suspension block.

I think one thing that could throw lots of people off on this cars setup is that it has 5mm of rear wheelbase adjustment. Most think that if they need more rear traction they will just go to the full back setting which doesn't work in all scenarios. Don't lock your thoughts into that one setting and leave it. A longer rear biased wb setting can bring its own problems on such as swing or pendulum effect.

Also note that if your are altering the wb setting to full back you should consider spacing at least the shock bottoms out by 2mm to keep the same shock action or alignment to the shock tower or you'll get a different shock feel again.

I know.....yeh yeh you set the car up to your track conditions, driving style.....but it's way off, it's not funny.
The car is tail happy but it is still easy to drive imo. especially that ive been out of onroad for over a yr and half and to come back and only being 2tenths off the pace. softer rear oil both shocks and diff, 5-5.5mm front droop and maybe even a little pro squat and the car should be dialed.

Is there a link to the MR33 springs with chart?

Thanks

-changed the rear toe in block to 3.5
-swaped out the springs to MR33 springs Purple front and red rear. Much better driving feeling with those.
-1.2 mm rear sway bar.
-450W shock oil and Xceed 2000 Gear diff oil two gear setup.
-Ride hight is 5mm front and 5,5 rear and droop 6 front and 5 rear.
the car is on rails now only thing i am doing to tune the grip with now is traction additive but going to play with the linkage setup from now on and out
Nice to see that you like the S411, as you are sort of guilty for me getting the it When I first saw your car and had a look at it, I put high up on my wish list (even above the T3'12 that I was considering). I liked the "simplicity" of the steering rack/ Ackerman and the separate suspension blocks both front and rear, much like what I am used to on my buggies!

I actually managed to build and set up the car (built in about 7 hrs start to end) and was actually on my way over to the track to test it last Wednesday when I got the call, and had to turn around and rush of for work. It will be about a week more before I get the chance to give it a go on the track.

Where did you get the Hara or MR33 spring from (rcmarket, tonisport etc)?
You should not by any chance have a set-up sheet ready with your last findings, as it seems to be a good starting point for our track?

Thanks.
The 2 gear, 4 gear is a on going debate. I think that if your running the higher turn motors like 10.5 and up you can run 2 gear with no problem. If your running mod anything 4 gear is probably the way to go, just because your able to apply more load over more area of teeth.
Oil on the other hand is personal feel, but remember that the thicker it is the more the diff begins to react like a spool in the back. It seems to effect the roll off the corner more than the hook up or "slip" that you feel with a ball diff.

Default Spring rate calculator

I found this easy to use spring rate converter and sure the read MR33 springs are close to the HPI silver ones. The HPI pink is close to the MR33 purple.

http://www.hraefn.net/projects/spring_rates.php

It gives kilogram-force/millimeter (kgf/mm) to pound-force/inch (lb/in) and many more.

Default Steering rack fyi

I found that of you want to tighten up the steering rack, mine seemed to loosen up after several runs, that if you double up the washers on the link arms and put one under each of the post screws it takes most of the slop out of it. I used shim washers from old brushed motors as you need a smaller od so it doesn't drag on the outside of the washer.
