I kinda like the case. Might have to give it a try. Hard to pass up on the cool looking blue though.

I ran my GTX this weekend. I changed too many other things to say the GTX is this much faster than my GT7, but no doubt-no compaints. I set it and away I went. Maybe my car felt punchier than it has in the past, but thats so hard to say.

Steve,

Does the GTX use the Millenium Pro charger to set the seventh profile or do we not need that feature anymore?

No, you do not need the Millenium Pro or other external device to program the GTX's 7th profile. It is all done via the one touch button and blinking LEDs. It's similar to the method used with the GT7's 7th profile, but further refined for easier interface.

If one decides he wants to put a GTX on a Mini-T, is it necessary to use the Capacitor for a 280 sized motor and 6 cell 1100 packs?

I just ran mine over the weekend...talk about punch..tons of it running the stock profile #3. super smooth..and much better than the GT7.

John... I don't think you'll need the cap for the mini's... the GTX is so tiny... it wouldn't hurt.

JF.
I won't say yes to that question regardless of the application. If an ESC says it needs a power cap for all applicaitons, it needs it for all applications. It may or may not work fine with out it, but bottom line is, it will always be faster with it on, and provide a longer ESC "Life".

I'm running touring stock. What is the best profile setting for this class. I believe #3 is the default. Any feedback is appreciated.

thanks,

Profile #3 should be a good start, but if you feel like you need more agressive bottom end response, you can try profile #2... if you still feel it needs more, try profile #1... basically the lower the #, the more agressive the drive profile.
