how to assemble a battery pack
Do I need to put anything between the cells on a stick pack/bullet pack? Like a piece of metal.
Thanks |
Nope, but its a good idea to put shrink wrap on each individual cell.....

Trinity sells a stick pack kit that includes endcaps and shotgun tubes. Makes it a lot easier if you can find the kit.

I'm not making a whole pack, just adding cells to an already assembled custom pack. I'm using cp-1300 cells, but two of them won't stay together no matter what I do.

Could you show us a pic. of how its already configured?

Yeah, just what I thought. Go see the the other thread you posted recently.

I got an idea.......
1. Get a toilet tissue roll (used up of course) slice it down the middle. 2. Slide the cells as if you would do a flashlight, end to end. 3. Tighten the tissue roll as tight as you can and glue in place. Cut off any excess material. 4. Shoo Goo the edges of the newly formed stick pack to keep the batteries from sliding out from either end, but not to cover the ends so you can't solder the leads on. Viola!!! you got yourself a 2 cell pack!:D |
I got it last night. Just had to tin the cells. Thanks :)
