1/12 pan car on unprepped asphalt

Anyone run a 1/12 pan car on unprepped asphalt. I don't have any indoor tracks near me (San Francisco) so I wanted to try a 1/12 in parking lot environment.

Don't know if anyone does this or should I try a Tamiya F104 or just forget it.

I currently use a TC car but wanted to try something different.

Thanks for any reply.

It can be done but depends on how smooth the surface is; very rutted bumpy asphalt with volcano cracks will not be any fun. If you have a nice smooth area you will have no problem once you get the setup sorted.

That's the wonderful thing about this hobby.... you can do whatever the hell you want:lol: If you do run it on asphault I would suggest not truing the tires or taking a lil off the top but not much. Keep in mind that at 1/12 scale a 1 inch rock becomes a 12 inch boulder.:D
