All I know is I'm running GP2 and GP3. After that I'll probably be out of gas money. Could somebody bring an extra "sam'ich and Mtn Dew for me?

Thats my point! but I was referring to your design not the race.

Hopefully this works out well I'd like to see something happen from it all. You should look into Jackson raceway or Madness on the east coast. Jackson is hosting the On-road Nats this year. Beautiful venue.

Jackson Mississippi? Everyone says that's a nice place to go.

Thats my point!

Well I'm glad the race is not "in" Houston, the traffic is a bit insane. So,what's the setup for motels and pit areas? Of course food at the track or nearby places to grab something. And no weird Hippie music please. Otherwise I will have to steal my son's Bagpipes, which I can't play.

You want an East Coast place- Carpet indoors, food places right outside the front door(all around the place). The Florida Indoor track located in Plant City . It's right outside of Tampa and about 30 minutes from disneyworld.

traffic isnt going to be an issue, there is TONS of pit space available, on any given satururday there is 100+ off roaders racing there. Food everywhere as well as hotels. im going out there tomorrow to get hotel information and will post on the USRCF1 site.

Pit area extends around both sides of the driver's stand.

I finally got some of the details going for the F1 series here. Can't wait to get some laps in before the Texas race!

i JUST realized that Easter is on the 24th! so the race date will change to APR 30th instead. hotel information is on the way to me and i have talked to the owners and if everyone shows up on friday (which im sure you all will) there will be a 10.00 charge to keep the track open into the night for practice. pre-register will start next week!

Oh you are in trouble now! My local minister told me that he and God have already been sneaking onto the track at night to get in some laps before Easter. Now his testing time has been cut short. You might want to think about getting some kevlar.
