Joe is sending us some product to raffle off or giveaway at the event! thanx for your support Joe!

well raced the new car tonight and holy S H I T !!! it was absolutely incredible! i was the only F1 to show up tonight so instead of packing it in i ran with 12th scale pan! i tq'd and ran 1 lap quicker than i did two weeks ago. the track was not in great shape they sprayed 3 bottles of soda on it and then a front came in so it got humid as hell and those of you that know what that means, the track got "muddy" and black crap was everywhere. normally that spells disaster for F1. the TC's were running 4 tenths slower than normal and the best mod TC time was 11.0 i manged to run a handfull of 11.6's and the quickest time in pan car was 11.9. two weeks ago i clicked off a 11.89 but only once. this thing is very consistent! i was in the 12.0 range most of the night. i tried to take some video but it was too dark.
being able to adjust antisquat, toe, camber made all of the difference. "off the trailer" i had 1* camber.2*toe and 1* of antisquat, in the front i had 2* of camber and a little caster, gold springs tires are RIDE SS F/R. it felt pretty good TONS of turn in but still had the damn high speed push and had to use brake to set the car up for exit. so i change the front to 1* camber, max Caster and PN soft cut springs. at the rear went to 3*toe,4*Anti squat,60wt oil and soft springs. and that did the trick! i had full steering with virtually zero push. this thing was a demon oh and i used 60wt in the dif (started with 3k) it seemed the lighter i went the better it handled. the kicker is that im running a 3300kv geared at 3.25 it was a freaking rocket! i tried this combo in my 104 and it is undriveable just too much Tq for the the rear to handle unless you were on slix and a perfectly prepped track and even then its a handful.
im really happy with it and will be retiring my beloved FQ01 (actually mini z multiple world champ Jacob Feinstein will be driving it at the nationals on foam) the fact that i am sooo close to the mod TC times on a short track says alot, it is easier to drive with confidence and handles the bumps with ease. now i am going to go with a Tekin RS 17.5 boosted on 3s, i feel that will be just about right

im so amped up its 1:00 am and i need to try and get some sleep!

Thanks for answering my question, even if you were a bit combative.

spent most of the day studying diffusers and how they work! so i made a completely new chassis in three pcs so i could have a flush chassis bottom with a carbon difuser. now the chassis is the same size as the body. i also added some rear stiffners via turnbuckles to get rid of the longitudinal flex but still allow some twist. powerwise i switched to a 17.5/RS/2s combo and it felt ok but lacked bottom end so i put a 3s in it and it really woke up. i dont know if its going to get hot until testing this weekend but it feels good on the street. i may have to go with a 21.5/3s boost combo , time will tell! here are a few pix:

Group testing this week at Mikes i plan on getting some good video footage!

Is there a list of entries for the classes yet? Or perhaps a preliminary list of who is expected?

here are some clips of the MWXIRS at the actual notional track. it rained a few days ago and the mgr is out of town racing at the 1/8 scale on-road worlds. so no preparation and extremely dusty, pollen everywhere but you can get a jist of what to expect!

Looks pretty fast and stable !!! About the same speed as pro10 mod in Europe, but in a much shorter track . Did the rubbers hold up good under such power ? Got a fluorescent body ? It is hard to see the car in the videos.....
