Are they still making the V1? I have 2 in for warranty and waiting for them to come in so I can get new ones. If they are not making the V1 will they ship the v2 in its place? Either way I'm getting the new v2 speedo! I like the added adjustability I see in the manual.

I personally believe these will be up there with the other boosted esc, if not better. The software and tuning options will be available free on LRP.cc

Winner, 2nd and 3rd in SuperStock at the DHI Cup used the new speedo. The new speedo is faster than the old - no doubt. And they didn't seem to have any problems with cogging or such like some of the V1's did.

I am assuming that you are referring to computer tuning of the details in the maps the same as in the Tekin. The answer to that is no. All you will be able to do is download and install maps from LRP.

Just so you know, I ran my V1 with software III last night in 17.5 1/12 scale single cell against the tekin dude that has dominated our club racing and was able to reel him in a couple times in the main. Only a driving mistake on the last lap prevented me from the pass. These speed controls are very capable. My issues have been to make the car fast with tuning the suspension. I accomplished that and the lap times came right in.

What set up were you running for 12th? I ask because that is where I would put a SS if I get one The Tekin being very sensitive on the input voltage I gone through 2 RS's in weeks thanks to the required RX pack...

Did you run yours with no booster no RX pack?

Thanks

So can the downloaded profiles be tweaked using a computer like the Tekin?

I feel its always been nice to tune the esc's without a laptop, just a small plastic screwdriver.
And the way I understand it is that you use the usb link to download new software. The manual seems to show that tuning the esc will be by pushing the esc buttons, so this leads me to again believe the sole purpose for the usb link is to update software.
