Aren't you guys glad you bought that bridge, yet not a single update has come out? I put that right up there with the case snapping off and the solder tabs as my favorite features. At least the price is right.

I wonder how ESD sensitive this thing is?

Hopefully this will be a running change to the manufacturing line so you won't have to get an ESC, wait until it goes POP, then have to put a board in it to fix it yourself because LRP/AE service in the US moves at speeds normally reserved for measuring the movement of geological features.

Do I need to send the ESC in for repair?
Is the new board the fix to this issue?

Thanks.

Still looking to see whether anyone has experienced this issue with their SXX stock spec V2?
If so, what was the fix?
Thanks!!

Perhaps there is nothing wrong with your speedo but it's your motor.
As far as I know the motortemperature is measured with a PTC resistor on the sensorboard. So if there is something wrong with it the speedo will read wrong temperatures.

Does your other speedo measure the motortemperature? If yes and it's readings were near the actual value then there can't be any problem with your motor. Did you try the SXX & motor combo afterwards once again?

I didn't hear any problems about wrong temperature readings with the SXX SS V2. Perhaps you should contact the LRP service or post on the LRP forum and describe your problem.

I'm currently using S/W v4.4 in my SXX stock spec V2. Can someone tell me whether this new S/W v2.0.4 is an update to v4.4?
or am I mixing up S/W with Firmware? Am I using the latest with v4.4?
