I realize that I am kind of hijacking this thread but being you are an oval racer, do you know if anyone has tested this esc in oval and had any success being competitive?

I've only got to run it twice so far on the outdoor track but that was in "Blinky" mode. Plan on testing as soon as carpet season starts.

Hey guys i noticed in some of the pic on rc50 from the icc in vegas Pauly L. and Josh Cyruls 1/12 cars they had lrp mounted with reciever packs.. Paul you could def tell he was running a SSx SS with a fan mounted on the chassis anda reciver pack.. Now joshs you cant tell what lrp speedo it is but he also has a fan mountto the chassis and a reciever pack.. i thought you could not use packs or werent suppose to? Is there a way to or gain from it?

They were doing that for free but that deal ended in June! They might do a swap for you but I'm sure it's gonna cost some! Don't hurt to check!

When running 4Tmod motors on an extremely high bite track like that you can get brown out without a rec pack, it's the first time this has ever happened to me with the LRP.
For club racing, it shouldn't be an issue.

I've got the Nosram Pearl ISTC V2 and I'd upgraded it with the LRP usb bridge to 1.5 nosram software.
I don't try to record the esc with lrp software, but spanish LRP representive, tell me that it's possible.
Now, also is possible to run the program in W7 64 bits. A few mouth ago, it isn't possible.
Cheers!

Default AHHHHHH!!!!! help me

I am going in circles with this speedo and motor combo.

I am using the Stock Spec V2 with the x12 13.5 motor.

I have tried:
3-4-7-1
6.0 - 1 ratio

and the motor just got hot!

I have also tried:
3 - 3 - 7 -1
7.0 - 1 ratio

a bit flaccid - motr fairly hot

I have now tried:

3-2-9-1
9.5 - 1

that felt a fair bit better

Are people finding the low ratios better or worse.

This is for a large indoor carpet track with a 30 metre main straight.

thanks
