For his Tekin, add more throw to the forward throttle points. Loss of boost is due to the Tekin not seeing Full Throttle. Go +10 after setting Tekin up on 0.

Use the Tekin while yah wait for the SS to get back.

If they made a new track I'm quite excited to run there again soon as I have just made some changes to my car that gives it very good on power steering that pulls hard and fast in corners.

The track I raced at was Rugby. Very small track.
Hi Mike,

Yeah theyve changed the track more technical and tight, Ive geared up to 5.5 and raised the boost to level 5. Car pulls really well and max motor temp was 70'c. Best times for me is 21 laps in 304 with fastest lap at 13.68.

Default blinky racing

Is the SXX StockSpec V2 better for stock blinky than the SXX Competition V2? If so why is that? Thanks in advance.

I can think one thing better about SS will be ESC heat sink.
Cooler ESC = Better performance.

+1........and while I'm at it, how about a FDR for a D3 on a fairly large asphalt track with medium grippage. I'm running a 3.82fdr/ 1 tick away from full endbell timing. Nice bottom end but I'm lacking topend. There's also a fan on the motor and yesterday on a hot day I was around 170degrees all day. 88/46/2.0 internal

Thanks guys

Thanks guys
Go to a taller FDR, but with a bigger spur. Say like 96/52 (3.69 FDR). The bigger spur helps keep the bottom end, and the taller ratio for the top. Also from what ive seen locally, less timing, more gear seems to suit D3's better.

JB your car was right there with Jake for a few laps..you tap the pipes and the cost.. I take the back...3.7 is the ideal gearing for me.

I would probably say around 1/2. Ive seen a few guys run 3.55FDR/0* endbell, but their cars looked flat on the straight. Saw a friend run this past weekend, I think he was around 3.6-3.7, and around 1/2 on the endbell, and he was definitely not lacking on the straight.

The gear thing is something we've found to be pretty effective, the spur is the motor's leverage for the transmission, so the bigger the spur, the easier it is for the motor.

Default more speed exiting

hi,
my setup
SXX StockSpec V2 (3-5-5-0)
LRP X12 13,5T (ºººº) (75ºCelcius)
chassis: T3, FDR: 6.13 (84/26t)
battery: VTEC 5300mAh/40C

Track: Asphalt, quick, grip, big, 65meters strait (Cancela - Funchal)

I need more speed exiting the corners,
should I change the motor timing?
if I change it, do I have to reduce the pinion
should I increase the Fell or the Boost?

thanks for any help
