No, not an option.

You 'set it up' by simply pressing the 2 buttons on the esc. The computer access via USB is to simply update the esc with the newest firmware. Currently, there is no 'tuning' the esc via a computer.

With that said, I strongly believe the LRP will be easier on someone new to the scene as there are far less variables as far as 'setting it up'. Throughout this thread, as well as the SXXV2 setup thread you will find users posting there setups.

Granted with time, practice, and personal feel you will find how you like the esc to be setup per tracks you run on. There is no need for thousands of posts explaining the esc settings and terminology.

Here's a little excerpt from the manual:

You can also find the full manual over at LRP.cc

LRP all day long. MUCH smoother, better brakes, and not the sudden jolt of speed when you hit Turbo.

I just switched from the Tekin and I'm loving the LRP

Stock Spec has very aggressive ramping for stock motors.

TC spec is more for low turn mod motors, not so aggressive ramping.

I believe both have a blinky mode, as do all the new LRP esc's.

Tekin got a very nice braking.

If you want to be smooth with the tekin you just have to set it smooth...

Lrp is just easier to set than the tekin for begginer in boost classes

Default 17.5 boosted

Hi all..After much testing...and no blown motors..
I have the LRP going pretty quick..Keeps up with the Tekins, hobbywings no problems..
Using the X12, 17.5..Touring car. rubber tyres.
LARGE out door track..190 foot straight...anti-clockwise

3.4.11.1 FDR 4.78 .2 dot insert..Using New REV tech 6000's. 2 fans on motor.
track temp 22deg C, air temp 15deg C, cold cloudy day. after 5mins 4 blinks on esc internal temp/motor. found this to be the better setting for me.
tried 1 dot..Faded way too quickly..
I didnt mind 3.4.11.1.FDR 4.99 3 dot insert...will run this if the track gets hot.
Still fades at 4 min 30sec Has any one else who runs on LARGE tracks found this???
Dont know what people are saying that you cannot use anything but the 4dot Have they tried?????
Next time..going to try 3.4.11.1. fdr 4.5ish with 4 dot...should rip out of corners and hope no fade as not as much timming..But will it have top end?
well see, not to worried about the temps..it WILL be cool.

Not game to use 12 on boost..It killed a motor, D3 in 2 laps...

This is fast and smooth..But Im finding that it fades at 4mins 30 secs.
Motor is not hot. I assume that the battery cannot keep the voltage up. I tried different settings and still fade..
I was told that the LRP motors suck power...
Will try a D3 and see what happens.

Mike, you should like the 4 dot timing. I don't have fade when going to it. Can get the big speed with gear. Also, don't need to go to the higher number boost settings, ie 12. Using 6 with 13.5 and 8 with 17.5 X-12 motors.

Make sure you are not above 5 feel with the X-12. The higher numbers are for other motors, ie X-11, D3 etc. If your X-12 sucks power, it is due to high settings of feel and boost. Also, you are not getting any heat because your timing is so high, the motor will not get going to generate heat. Good luck.

I thought odd numbers should be used for the Boost with X12's ? or is that just for the Feel ?
