Hey guys am at a lost now due to the Hurricane. The track took a direct hit, at this time it is no longer open and we be closed until further notice. I would greatly appreciated if those whom wish to visit the track please do not go to the track. The golf course as will as been damaged. Today is hard for me and I need to think of the future of the track. We have the worlds here in Oct so I need to evaluate what to do. Please let everyone know who is planning to fly over and race in this event. Fsear officials please call me at 407-334-0521 to discuss the event
We wish all the best for Jorge and his family.

Here is the absolute latest info.... I spoke with Jorge a few minutes ago and this is what I am being told. We are going to do everything we can to hold the event as scheduled. There is a meeting in the morning between the golf course managment and Jorge regarding letting us get in there and do the neccessary work to get things back in order. This meeting is the only possible obstacle to us being able to get to work and put things back in order. The golf course as I understand it is closed and will be for a while now. So keep an eye here for more info as soon as it becomes available. The final word should be out sometime near 1100 am florida time sunday. In the mean time we need to organize all the help we can get and any help from any of the manufacturers would be greatly appreciated. Money or supplies or even labor to help put things back to gether will be appreciated. For those arriving early please bear with us as we endeavor to bring you the race that you had planned on seeing.

If there are any questions please feel free to contact me during reasonable hours @954-461-7770 cell.

Hey Jorge (or John if Jorge doesn't have power)-
My brother lives in Belle Isle by the Orlando airport and they got hit really hard too so i can totally sympathize with you. We went down there today to clean up everything- due to the magnitude, i'm going to be going down tomorrow and on Monday most likely to keep cutting up trees out of the yard and house.

If you need any help at the track cleaning up and fixing stuff, I'll be in the area so give me a call- more than happy to help out and do whatever I can. Give me a call at either (352) 846-4170 or my cell (904) 705-1928.

I imagine the driver stand is totaled. I bet Superior would loan you theirs if you asked. This is a lot more simple than trying to rebuild the driver stand in a week.
