Default intimadator tc4 speed run car

i guess im too new to help you out on your own thread so i started this to give you what little info i have gathered over the last week or so...im basically doing the same thing just with a tc5.
using a tc5 as my platform and the cc speed control and the mm 9000 kv motor. from the gear chart i was lookin at today you would want the oppsite a large pinion and a small spurr. here is a link someone shared with me today.
w w w.gearchart.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=chart.create[/url]
the tc5 has a final drive of 2.0 and i have a 15/90 48p gear setup and the chart says it will only go 47 if i can get to a 28/78 gear setup the speed would more than double to 102. if you really want a monster like i do you may want to choose a diff motor that can handle more voltage because the mm 9000kv can only handle a 2 cell lipo. and make sure you buy a batter with a high discharge rate i have started with a 5000mah 50 c 2 cell lipo. hope this helps a little bit.
