I am a little unhappy about the shipping this time from hobbypartz, I ordered my packs this past sunday 1/9 and they just shipped my package this morning 1/12. I have had really good luck with my 5 previous orders from hobbypartz, I guess it is because of the bad weather but still a little unhappy. I really wanted to get these packs before this saturday night, my Reedy pack gets a few degrees warmer each time it is on the track. Oh well we will see, there is still time.

Hmm, they took a day and a half to ship mine. They're probably a bit overwhelmed with people buying the gens ace as they just got back in stock.

I recieved my batteries in the mail today hooked them up to the charger and bother were right under 7.9v and perfectly balanced, they both also took roughly 2600mah. So far so good, we will have to wait til saturday night to see how they perform on the track.

Cycle the Ace batteries a few times to get the most power out of them. I charge the 5000mah packs between 30-40Amps and they hold up well.

GENS ACE were the first lipo I have used - and very likely to be the last lipo I use in my car. I have the 5300 30c 2s lipo.

I think that alone tells you the quality of these packs, they have lots of power and duration

Sorry but if im not wrong, C on a battery is a term in relation with capacity not a charge rate. Charge on 1c for a 5000mAh means charge at 5A,charge on 2c means charge at 10A etc.Do you mean 6A and 8A maybe?

They are rated for 5C charging. I imagine he is going that little bit.further but just because most racers only charge at 1C dosen't mean what he.is.doing is dangerous or even bad.
