Default DF-03RA Steering problem HELP!

I recently got this chassis.

Here is my upgraded parts I have in this DF-03RA chassis.

Aluminum shaft with two housings
Slipper torque clutches
Aluminum 3racing steering set

I specifically have problems with steering. I have lots of slop in my chassis.

When I turn left, the steering does not come back to neutral, centered all the way. It stops slightly left tilted.
same goes for right. It really bothers me because I have to trim the steering everytime after I turn.

Even after I put 3racing steering set, the problem was still there. It was reduced but still there.
I thought it was the servo saver so I took the stock servo saver out and used stock servo arm that came with the servo.
I also am using servo Hitec-5645MG digital hi torque so servo is not the problem.

I was wondering if anyone ever encountered this problem. I believe it is coming from steering set or something but I am not sure.

Please help me out!

I would start by removing the linkage to the servo and swipe the steering system by hand to start troubleshooting where the binding is (there seems to be one from what you describe).

Are your kindpins too tight? Stuff like that may bind if you say the problem is there before/after the 3R system is installed.

I checked on binding and fixed it!

Glad it helped, but please keep your questions in the DF-03/RA forum if possible.
