HeY!!!

I'd prolly have to say it is, because it allows your pack to sit more towards the center of the chassis... i'd say talk to steve about it he likes it and knows how it changed his car if it did majorly... but he's in the dells this weekend, then has to work tues. and won't get back till later monday so yeah..... but definintly talk to steve befor you do do anything.

I agree, I tried that mod myself about 7 months ago, & I've ben very pleased with it, it seems that my car can handle quick transitions noticably better than before(& it's also nice to combine that with running a spool, the ver.2 front suspension arms & a rear shock tower up front, very effective)...

Ive never heard of someone filling it in before they machined it. If you try it let us know how it goes. There are some pics of the mod on my website if ya need an idea of how much to cut out.

There's certainly nothing wrong with filling those gaps with epoxy, but you don't really need to do it, I just milled it out & ran with it, & it seems fine that way(& I certainly don't mind saving the little extra bit of weight).....
