i am using the Pro4 spring perches..

thrust bearing shredded before finishing the car.. now using the XRAY ones.. better quality.. Corally has upgrades??

anyone got problem with wheels(foams) rubbing spring perches.?? meaning a lot less dual rate on the radio.. can only run approx. 85% with a helios? supposedly the car will steer, and you wont need to run more dual rate anyways..

arvin
Welcome Arvin, are you running the Nat's? THe new car is awesome. I also have a thrust bearing issue, but I have to disassemble it first to verify whats in there...
Ukeejim, awesome......
Brian I guess its ok then, also is there a particular shock length I should be using. I pm'd my cell # to you call me. Thanks.

Jeff,
Simmilar results, I have clearance at 75% EPA with 100% dual rate, but have never needed more than 50% to have too much steering. I was answering Arvin, who was concerned about throw.
On the tyre issue, I have Parma on the car now with the stock tow out shims on the back, and I think I may be over 190mm, but it might squeeze into a tech box. Probabl;y the offset.

ukeejim....... ok just checking.

Raul...... if your thrusts are bad and you have copper colored ones then you probably cranked them down too tight. It is a very sensitive adjustment and is easier to fine tune once it is in the car. They aren't like other diffs that you crank down, then back off a half turn. Hope this helps.

Is there a list of parts (with part numbers) of the differences between the US Spec and the Carpet Spec? I've got a diff in the front and the X-hard arms, but surely there's more. A definitive list would be great.

The carpet spec includes a 3.5 mm top deck, 4 degree caster blocks, front diff, and the full silver spring set. I am almost 100% sure that is all that is different.

First off Rual is a friend of mine, so this is all in fun.

Mi2, Pro4, 415 and now the RDX within a five month period, wow

With only 3 more touring cars to go, TC4, xray and the new Losi, I'll give about a 2 months before you own one of the remaining three, give them hell at the Nationals

Dawgmeat,
Yes, Raul has been through many kits as of late , but I do believe he has found the glove that fits. After seeing him run last night I do not think there is a need to try the other two kits. LOL

Default the RDX experience

i finally had a chance to spend some time with the car on the track. i'm pretty impressed with how incredibly smooth and quiet the car is, all i hear is the whisping sound of the motor and the shredding of foam on carpet, virtually no transmission sound at all.

also with just less than a 1/2 dozen packs run throught the car, i've already managed to turn very competitive lap times. this car is fast and it doesn't appear that you have to over-drive it to achieve speed. on the track it's so smooth that it looks like it's going slow......does that make sense?

just an observation

Yeah, according to my manual, the top deck is 3.5mm and the chassis is 3mm.
If you want a thincker chassis get the 4MM unit made by BMI. They are available from Corally (BMI will only sell them to Corally).
