Team Corally RDX Touring Car

A great way to make the inner most cut perfectly straight would be to clamp on a straight edge to the battery side of the chassis plate that will act as a limiter of how far you can cut in that direction.
Will do that on my next chassis cut.

Ran the new bulkhead tonight. The car definitely seems to have more "snap" as it changes direction. It felt faster through the turns for sure. My lap times were pretty similar to past weeks, but I don't think it's fair to judge a minor change like that at my skill level.
Seems like we're going to run rubber tires now (on the carpet) for the summer. I tried out Jason Erector's IIC setup, and it was quite loose on our track. We don't have nearly the traction you'd find at a big race. We're running CS27's, so I can't mess with tires. Would it be reasonable to try a thinner top deck or even a thinner chassis as the first tuning step to get more traction, or is there something else I should try first? The setup calls for the 4MM chassis and thick topdeck.

Hey Guys,
First let me say thanks to everyone here and to all the help I received from the Pro's and the Joe's.
I appreciate it to no end.
I am sad to say that I have given up on On Road for now.
It was fun and made tons of friends along the way.
I just don't have the time or ability to keep it up.
The way On Road is scheduled around here keeps me from On Road.
I haven't given up on RC though.
Off Road has filled in that gap, I can race weekly now since there is a place that races Tuesday nights that is close by.
I wish it were different as I was begining to really pick up my game and do well.
I did sell all my stuff already, too a close friend who just got a RDX a month ago, who now has two of the best TC on the market....And well every spare he could hope to never have to use..LOL
Jeff,
A huge shout out to ya for all your help...Always there when I had questions...
E-man...You the man...Thanks for all the encourgament...

Try going to the stock 2.9mm upper and lower deck. Thats what I've been running and I run on a really low traction carpet track at the moment. The Springs could be softer too, try 17 or 14.5 lbs in the front and 12.5's in the rear. Also lengthen your camber links one hole on the tower, and lay yours shocks in one more hole all around. These changes should give you a little more mechanical grip.

If Jim decided to actually race a Corally, the shop would become the #1 dealer in the country.
Why?
Think of all the parts he'd need to order.
