Do people use threadlock in a lot of places on the car?

I was having these same questions last night. Very few mentions of threadlock (BLUE, NOT RED!!!) in the manual, but a lot of places that seemed like it might be needed.

Thoughts?

The only places I use it is on the cvd pin set screws and on the set screw for the steel cvd blades.

Is anybody taking pre-orders on the new arms? I'd like to get in line for a 4 pack of fronts and rears.

790804 - RDX CF6 Wishbone (X Hard 80) - Front (4 pcs)
790904 - RDX CF6 Wishbone (X Hard 80) - Rear (4 pcs)

Default New RDX

Hi,

does somebody know about one RDX new release.

Or you know how to change the roll center without taking away the bulkheads?

Or how by using XRay outdrives , change from one-way to spool without taking away the bulkheads?

Or how to keep smooth and blocked the RDX rear diff?

cheers

Pedro

Default Buying a second RDX

I am considering the purchase of one second RDX.

Does somebody know which new parts are included in the last version of the RDX (new arms? new servo posts?.l..) and which chasis (2,9mm or what).

thanks in advance

Pedro

Okay I give up... what is the deal with the wheel hexes on this sucker? I know I'm not supposed to over-tighten the screw on the hexes, but short of CA glue, nothing in the world is going to keep them on the axles.

Am I doing something wrong?

Put some threadlock on the screw and just snug them up.

The screw doesn't seem to tighten them enough to hold them on the axles though... they just fall off.

Sounds like you're not getting them all the way on. Easiest way to make sure is don't tighten the screw up all the way (just enough for a wheel to fit on) then put a wheel on and screw it on so it forces the hex ALL the way on. You'll probably hear a little pop, that's the hex popping onto the little pin. Then just take the wheel off and tighen up the hex a tiny bit.
