It seems the RDX is always compared to the latest XRay car. I don't know the history of these two companies, but from what I've read in the past, they've... shared some ideas. Why is it that the RDX is so often compared to XRay? I don't feel like it shares many of the design choices. Visually, due to the lack of color, I guess they're similar. Other than that, I don't get it.

I do like the idea of easy access to the diffs and layshaft. I wouldn't be sad to see an upgrade come out in the future that simply offered easier maintenance, but it's certainly not necessary.

Wow, thank you for that link. Seriously, $1 per bearing? I had no idea they were so inexpensive.

Screw stabbing myself in the finger with an Xacto trying to pry the metal shields out. I'm never going to pick carpet fibers out of a bearing's guts again. $1? Damn, I feel really stupid for that ceramic bearing incident. I could have bought like ONE HUNDRED spare regular bearings. What the hell...

ATTENTION

The COR79248 is NOT the X-long Extensions. We do not have a part number setup for purchasing online. Please be patient as the initial flood as pretty much sold us out. We are having more made now. Putting the 79248 onto an order will get you the standard kit extensions.

We have also had Dealers and such inquire about Tamiya 3 hold pistons. We do not sell them as we do not manufacture them.

Well.... if you ever compare the Corally C4 circa 1998 and the Xray T1 circa 2000 you would see the comparison history. I found links to images of them but I don't have them here at work. You could probably do a GOOGLE image search on it or something.

Shaft? I heard the new car was going to have a floating rear pod.

HAH! Nope, that's not one of them. I did have to order more arms though, so if you wanna defend the T2, you can beat that dead horse.

Any chance of getting Jeff Dayger's setup from the January Jam? Jeff's car was OFF THE HOOK!!!!! Would love to get my hands on the setup. If someone has it and can email me at [email protected] that would be awesome.

Glowster, my guess is that it is very, very close to, if not the same as his Novak race setup.

Exactly. If you look at the Cleveland vs. Novak setup there were only 2 changes. So, I doubt there were slim to none on the changes.
