Agreed guys. I am really glad that in my heavy internal debate between the FK05 and the RDX, I went with the RDX. I love how Corally (USA) has listened to their customers and made improvements to the car and parts without re-inventing the wheel. Multiple kit choices, decent parts availability, upgrades for durability and performance, and you don't need to buy $200 worth of parts on top of the kit to be race-ready.

I don't think I'll be trading this car in for a while.

I called earlier, and they said the shipment hasn't come in yet... at least for bulkheads. I imagine they'll mention it here when they're ready to go. I'm hoping to get stuff in time for next week's race. :-O

What's the story on the new diff screws, are those part of the same shipment? How 'bout the improved steering knuckle bushings?

Na, I just managed to bend a front bulkhead during a time when nobody has them in stock. Corally USA said they're getting a shipment (which includes replacements) soon. Same part, just out of stock currently.

NEW CAR RUMORS

Just so you guys know THERE IS NO NEW CAR. We do not know where or how these rumors start. Like others mentioned we are always developing and testing for future revisions. The car has momentum and is selling great and working excellent. It would be nuts to release a new kit midseason as all the hype is building.

We will leave that to Xray apparently.......

US INDOOR CHAMPS TQ AND WINNER!! CORALLY RDX!!

Just thought to drop a few CONGRATS to the Corally drivers from this past weekend.

Jeff Dayger for his impressive drive to pull off the win. Careful with the radio tossing!

Jeff Cuffs for his DOMINATION of qualifying as he held TQ after every round.

5 out of 10 cars were RDX. Finishing 1-2 plus TQ. Congrats to other A-main Drivers......... TJ Bradley, Mo Denton and Jim Herrmann.

Congrats to our NEWEST TEAM DRIVER Ray Darroch!! Only having the car for roughly 2 weeks he promptly stepped in and dialed in his ride. In his FIRST event with the car he made DOUBLE A-mains for Modified and 19T. Finishing a fantastic 5th in the Modified A-main.

See you at the Novak Race........

COR79278

Looks like Corally is going to offer the aluminum steering blocks with the bushings. Do you think this will replace 79279 eventually?

In natural thinking, yeah! I mean I'm not turning mad RPM with my steering...

Default Help and advice.

My wife has just gone and bought a UK RDX for me as an Xmas present. Of course I couldnt wait.
I have wanted to have a go at 1/10 touring cars for a while and a new local indoor club has just startApologies for the NOOB questions, but if you look at the pic below, you will see how slippery the surface is. Dusty/polished floor You can even see the reflection of the wheels on the floor.

Anyway, will anyone on here give me any setup tips. It is a small tight track with maybe two 20foot straights and the rest is tight. I am using the kit 78t spur and also a 27T motor.

How do you bend a bulkhead and how do you tell if you have bent it?

I bent mine using too much motor (Brushless 5800) and hitting the wall hard with the side of my car, going high into a turn.

I didn't know it was bent for a while, but the first signs are that the bearing holders won't fit in as easily (if at all) and the screw hole that the bumper plate screw into will stretch, making it seem like it's stripped since the screw won't tighten down. As it gets worse, the drive train will bind up when you accelerate with the wheels turned, and cause the thing to make a crunching noise and spin out violently. That's what started happening when I decided there might be a problem. Taking them both off and comparing side-by-side made it obvious just how bent it was.

In hindsight, my car handled poorly after the bend, but I was convinced it was my setup or my driving. I even had it on the setup station and "tuned out" the tweak. Good times. I've been learning fast, but I'm still a newb.
