I am assembling the spur gear/ center pulley and i have 1 extra bearing. Should that be in the assembly? Or should the assembly have just 2 bearings?

Anyone ?

Wallstreet- Did you put the two bearings in like the instructions say... If so then you prob. have an extra. Its hard for us to sit here and know if you assembled it correctly.
You only need two bearings for the lay-shaft assembly. So if you had three then save it incase you need it later.

Cool hope to see ya Fri. morning then. Things here are going good. Just had an old track reopen under some new management, I think that is going to be the ticket this summer. Its the track that hosted the on-road nats a few years ago.

Things still going great in MD.? Gonna try and get a road trip up to Fred. sometime in the near future.

yeah i put the 2 bearings in like it says but there is just an empty space were it looks like another bearing could go in the second belt ( smaller belt pulley )

Nope just the two.

Don't make it hard on yourself. Don't think when you are building a R/c Cars. LOL

Someone else already did it for ya.

Yeah I see what you are talking about now that I have mine infront of me. But you only need the two.

That part number is the old strap.

The updated one is 79363A with the RDX cutout in it.

Actually..........

Carpet Spec: 4 deg blocks, double diffs, 3.4mm topdeck and silver spring set with X-Hard arms

UK Kit: 4 deg blocks, double diffs, 2.9mm topdeck and chassis

Standard Kit: 2 deg blocks, one way diff, 2.9mm topdeck and chassis

All the latest batches of kits received have had the X-hard arms in them. Not sure if this is a permenant thing or not. I'll have to check as they are not supposed to have them. EVERY Kit comes with swaybars. 1.9mm bars front and rear with required mounting hardware.
