Maybe they're hard to find because people are tearing through them? Literally.

I last batch we have had no problems. I think we got that problem taking care of.

Thanks Drew

I had two bad sets over the summer, but the latest set has been doing fine.

Ah, good to hear, I'm still working through some I've had laying around getting ready for 'birds. I can make even those last a while longer by keeping the insides of the wheel wells very smooth.

Over 9 race days on carpet I have destroyed 2 complete sets with my 17.5 sedan (not worn out, just literally torn.) They are hard to find up here too, our LHS usually only has one set on the peg, if you're lucky. Just about every other sedan racer at our track has torn up more than me. The set on my car currently has 2 tires that are torn, I had to CA them up. Its so bad, i'm parking my sedan after this season. We race Trans Am, Mini, and F1 also and none of there tires have torn, so its not a track issue. Jaco Blue's are our spec tire. They have good grip and are consistent, but are WEAK.

Talked to one of the employees at my LHS & he says that Jaco will no longer make rubber tires after Snowbirds. Anyone hear any different?

That would be BAD news! Jaco has done a ton for rubber tire racing in the US. I do miss the tires as they were a year ago, but I'd never wish them gone.

Solaris and Sweep could probably swoop in and fill the gap, but it's always good to have options. Sorex is too expensive and wear out too fast, it's not a good spec option.

This is so far from the truth. What is the name of your local hobby shop, please tell so I can call them and tell them to stop spreading rumers like that.

Alright guys Jaco is still going to making tires for rubber touring car and 1/12 foams and much more. For you guys that don't know Jaco is a much bigger company then what is giving credit. And Jaco is one of our oldest RC company's that is here in the states, been around for along time. And they do way more them just RC car tires.

Thanks Drew
