you got lucky bro! just make sure theres no broken parts, clean it up, and maybe set it up for either drift, touring, or VTA...

Enjoy!

It was an OFNA in America, but it was also sold that in Europe as a GM TC4, and in the rest of the world as a Hong Nor OB4, seeing as you're in NZ I'd say that was the OB4. All the parts are shared though.

depends on how much you wana spend, what your using it for, and what you wana get out of it.

i race 1/8 scale truggys and buggies (Mugen Mbx6t truggy and a Hyper 8.5 buggy) both nitro and are very expenssive to run, maintain. and of course all the spares, controller, motor, starter box etc all add up. My old Mxb5t truggy i sold for $2600 complete

in electric i have a hopped up TA-05 and now a Jl-10e drift. and use both of them drifting and mucking around with mates in a carpark somewhere. basic kit that will get you going is around $200-$300 NZD. which you build up yourself and away you go. or if your after some a bit for top spec youll be looking around $450-$600

Which is basically a re-release of the OB4 that is circa 2000. See attached... Do a google image search for OFNA OB4 and you'll see some nice pics of this old school tourer.

Tommi, I didn't even see an rc car in the first pic, just what's back by the closet! Have a great holiday!
