Default lrp sphere tc ok with 3.7v lipo?

Hey guys,

Looking to try 1/12 scale carpet and am hoping to use a spare lrp sphere tc edition I have, it says input voltage min is 4.8 obviously 4 cell pack but will it still work on lipo at 3.7v? im hoping it will and just that the pack wasnt common back when the specs were writen so it was left out. Full charge is about 4.1v but still under.

thanks

yes, it will. but as the ESC don't have buildin booster like the V2's so you need to run an external BEC or a receiver pack.

I also had to turn the Lipo protection off on mine to get it to work correctly. And for safety when I connected the booster to the car, I removed the red wire from the speedo connection.

Works well, enough for me. But you cant beat the HW, or Tekins on the track in 1/12 with it.

Shawn.
