It's called G10 if you want fiberglass parts. Most of our parts are made from carbon fiber.

Before carbon fiber became the standard for chassis', G10 was used and is still used on some parts like T-bars. G10 is also known as circuit board material. It's available from most plastic supply warehouses and online. Cutting it can be difficult as it is very abrasive and will dull high speed cutting tools quickly. You will need carbide to cut it efficiently.

You want the G10/FR4 garolite.

Word of caution, wear a mask when you cut it. Breathing that stuff is NOT GOOD for your lungs and sinuses.

A naked or uncoated carbide tool (end mill, or drill) doesn't stand much of a chance against G10 either. Make sure you buy some thing coated, CVD Diamond coated is best as its wear resistance is the extremely high. AlTiN or TiAlN coated tools (actually they are the same coating) would be the bare minimum I would use to cut G10. Even then the G10 is so nasty and abrasive that the tools will not last long. Drilling, more so than milling, is actually the hard part of working with G10 or Carbon fiber. Make sure you have a piece of wood clamped to the back side of the work piece to help avoid blowing out the back of the hole.

If you are going at this with a hand tools, good luck and make sure you have plenty of spare cutting tool.
