TA05 V2 IFS (Lambo) VS. 3Racing Sakura Zero S
Hey guys/gals, I'm not new to the RC scene, just took a few years off and built my fullsized RX7. I'm looking to get back into the TC game, but I don't want a RTR and I don't necessarily want to spend $400 for a "luxury" rc car. I'm no newbie, but I'm not made of money either. I've done enough research prior to this post to know what I'm wanting/needing for the racing I'm going to do, electronics wise. I want to build the car myself, so a kit is a definite, and I liked when I had my RS4's a while back, that I could upgrade the lower model to be the exact same or better than the "pro" version. The HB cyclone S is out of stock, or I would consider it (is it still in production?). So I'm looking at the Lambo Gallardo TA05 V2 kit that has the IFS suspension, and the 3Racing Sakura Zero S. Both are decent TC chassis and both have the availability to be upgraded to their superior's specs.
Alas, I need some help in making a decision, which is the better route to go? Or does anyone know if the Cyclone S is still in production.
Thanks for any help given.

Unless I'm wrong, I believe the Cyclone has been replaced by the TCX.

Alright, the Cyclone S is out, so in that case what would be the better platform to go with. To say that I should go with something like what many of the guys at the track I go to would be difficult, considering that it's a hodge-podge of different brands.
So of the aforementioned chassis, which is the more competitive?

The TCX sedan is the latest top line rcing sedan from Hot Bosied. The plastic Cyclone S is still available and is a great entry level sedan.

3racing make some nice stuff, but if I had to pick I'd go with the Tamiya TA-05V2. Parts availability and local support are essential when racing or bashing. I doubt any local shops have anything in stock to support the Sakura Zero.

Thanks, I've heard a lot of good things about the TCX, but as I said, it's out of my price range. Yeah, the Sakura Zero S isn't a commonly replacement part stocked platform, I am just unsure if the TA05V2 is really a machine that will compete with the likes of TC(X)s, Cyclones, TC4s, Robitronics, Corally's, etc. The Sakura seems to have similar chassis layouts, I'm just trying to make the most informed decision. Again, I'm not new, just needing some outside feedback.
